I then rinsed my monthly henna treatment, conditioned, and dried my clean, wet hair in a T-shirt for about 30 minutes before RevAiring myself. I used the RevAir on low heat, and she said she couldn’t feel anything. Also, she usually complains about the heat of our usual blow dryer, which I use on moderate heat. About 20-30 minutes later, I was done! The styling process of her hair usually takes an hour or more. So after about 70 seconds, I released that section to find it smooth, shiny, and straighter than I ever could have got it with a regular blow dryer and hell brush. It dries your hair the way you’re supposed to dry it with a regular hair dryer (angled down the hair shaft).

I took a deep breath, and it gently sucked her hair in like a vacuum cleaner, drying it in a downward motion to seal out frizz in and seal in moisture. I was nervous to put the first section of her hair near the nozzle, when I remembered the happy little girl on the FB ad. But after reviewing the quick start guide, I could see that it was pretty intuitive. For the first time in the life, I read an instruction manual. After rinsing her hair and drying for a bit in a T-shirt pineapple, I used the RevAir on her first. The detangling process took the usual hour or more, which is greatly reduced thanks to Oyin’s Oh My Glideand Honey Hemp Conditioner. It loves itself so much that there is just constant strand hugging. Her butt-length hair is three times as dense as mine and very coily. So I wrote a note to the marketing director explaining what had happened all those years ago, and they were gracious enough to gift me a SECOND one! Oh happy day!!!! It arrived on last Thursday evening, just in time for hair day that weekend. I then remembered receiving one and losing it (without trying it) and decided to purchase a replacement, and then I saw that price. Like, without the damaging round brush, or the harsh, whipping heat of a blow dryer, or the bi-cep building effort. Fast forward to like 3 weeks ago and I’m scrolling on IG or FB and came across a super cute little girl putting small sections of her damp curly hair into a black wand, and pulling it out, STRAIGHT-ish. I was in the midst of a life revampand the $499 dollar hair dryer was lost in transit. But first, a story.īack in late 2018 or early 2019 I was gifted a RevAir to try and review. It’s all Love here, of course! Yesterday was hair day and things went way more smoothly than normal.
